Alliance for Biosolutions is strengthening international engagements as Tetra Pak Sweden becomes a leading member of the alliance and joins the Board of Directors.
The move marks an important step in reinforcing cross-border collaboration within industrial biotechnology and biosolutions across the Nordic region and in Europe.
At the Alliance for Biosolutions Annual General Meeting and Impact Summit on May 6, 2026, the members of the association elected their Board of Directors to drive forward the strategic priorities for the coming year.
With Marie Sandin, Managing Director AB & Vice President Strategic Programs at Tetra Pak joining the board, the alliance is strengthening international ambitions to elevate biosolutions as an actual movement on the European agenda.
Companies across both Denmark and Sweden are ready to accelerate the green transition through biosolutions, and the momentum is growing rapidly across the EU.
However, realizing the full potential of the sector requires stronger political prioritization, enabling regulation, and improved framework conditions.
By aligning efforts across borders and focusing on scalable solutions, Denmark and Sweden can position the Nordic region as a global frontrunner and leading hub with biosolutions.
Congratulations to all members of the new Board of Directors!
